A Generous Life | Pastor Kyle Backhaus

"Connecting People to Christ" is the mission of St. Paul. We do this through the various ministries and programs that happen week in and week out. The youngest among us learn Bible stories through our Early Childhood Center, Sunday School, and AWANA. The oldest among us hear many of these same stories at The Gathering Place and Memory Matters. The faith is taught in Bible class and AIM (Adult Instruction to Membership). The church is reaching out into our community through St. Paul Serves, Social Ministry, and we are partnering with other great organizations through Mission dollars and Scrip, as they share the Gospel and care for the needs of those around us. Kyle Backhaus

Pastor Kyle began as an Associate Pastor at St. Paul in 2018. He became Senior Pastor in 2019. Prior to arrival at St. Paul, Pastor Kyle served a dual parish in South Central Texas (Abiding Word-Gonzales Tx, Vineyard of Christ-Rosanky Tx). He received his masters of Divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary in 2014. Pastor Kyle is married to Tessa. They have been blessed with two children, Jolene (2012), Emaline (2015).

Favorite Bible verse: 1 Peter 5:5-7, “Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time He may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you.
