We have two groups of quilters. They both create quilts for Lutheran World Relief. Baby quilts are also made to give to the families of newborns at baptism. One group of quilters meet during the day on the first Wednesday of the month, the other group of quilters meets during the evening on the 3rd Monday of the month.

Friends Club meets once monthly (September through May). These meetings usually include a pot-luck meal, occasional guest speakers and/or inspirational presentations, and optional post-meeting group merriment activities. Funds raised through events such as the annual November Trash and Treasure Sale are used to support Church and Community projects and missions, beautify the Church building and property, and spread Christian fellowship and hopefulness.

Any adult aged 18 or older is encouraged to attend a meeting to check out the group and/or join the Club. Meetings are announced in the News and Notes several weeks in advance. Club members are usually asked to host one meeting per year.

This is a “young at heart” group that meets at Firehouse Pizza for lunch, fun, and fellowship. They meet at 12:30 pm on the second Friday of the month, February through November. A few rounds of BINGO is also enjoyed. All seniors are welcome to join us!

This wonderful and creative team helps set up the decorations around church during the holidays and special events happening throughout the year. Enjoy the company of others and make new friends while making the church feel welcoming to new visitors and members.

Everyone is welcomed to help decorate with the help of our adornment team leader Lorrie Wilson. God’s Blessings for a beautiful team He has given us with talent and time to set everything up and take the decorations down.
